HOW DOES ORDERING & DELIVERY WORK?

We are both an online and physical shop, so ordering can be done through the website or simply bought for cash in our store.  If you do wish to visit the store, please do Contact Us before to arrange a time as we are based at a residence.

Regarding Online Ordering:
Please note that Delivery Charges are NOT included in the Price of the items and not automatically Calculated at Checkout. We also do not have an automatic payment system when checking out.  The Reason for this is that Delivery Charges given by our Trusted Courier Service being the The Courier Guy depend on the area requested for delivery as well as the size of the order, so we cannot fix a delivery amount on every order and have to do a little manual administration. Please read further down for an idea on Delivery Charges and rules of collection from an online order.


ONLINE ORDER PROCESS

There Should be a total of 3 points of communication (E-Mails) from the time you hit the PLACE ORDER button at your Checkout until the time your order leaves our shop – 1) – a confirmation that we have received your order, then 2) a quote that includes delivery charges (if any) and then 3) a receipt once payment is received with tracking numbers (if any).

FIRST E-MAIL: Will be titled as “SugarCave-Acknowledgement of ORDER #…”
This will automatically be sent to your E-Mail  provided by you at checkout as soon as you have clicked the “PLACE ORDER” button.  DO NOT do any payments at this point only unless you are Collecting the order as there obviously will be no shipping charges attached.  You can send your own Courier as well to Collect, please read further on.

SECOND E-MAIL: Will be titled as “SugarCave-Total with Delivery Charges for ORDER #…”
This E-Mail will be sent along with an SMS summary to your Cell number provided by you as soon as the order is seen and edited by the administration with the Delivery Charge to the Area specified by you in your Billing Address. Importantly Note that if no proof of Payment is sent to secure the order by 9pm the sameday from this E-Mail and SMS notification, the order will automatically be canceled.  Even if the order is requested to be kept aside for a day or two for Collection, prior payment by 9pm will still be required to have it secured.  Please add in the ORDER NOTES at the checkout if you are going to collect.  If you are using a Courier to Collect, then we will require roughly a day to package, and please do request the Courier to Call us to arrange the time and day of Collection.

THIRD E-MAIL: Will be titled as “SugarCave-Tracking Number and Completion of ORDER #…”
This will include the final Invoice with the Tracking Number and where to track, estimated delivery date, and will serve as an acknowledgement of payment, or in the case of collections will also serve as a notification that the order is ready to collect.

Here Is A General Idea Of Delivery Charges Around South Africa
(Note That this is Estimated and NOT Final)

In most cases we can fit approximately 24 items into a large box-This means that whether you order 1, 2, 10, 15 etc items upto 24 items, the delivery charge will still stay at the below estimates as it counts as 1 box.  Ideally ordering in multiples of 24 items will give you the best cost value for delivery. More than 24 items will most likely double the estimated costs below as it will involve additional boxes.

Pretoria & Johannesburg Central & Surroundings,  For a box containing between 1-24 Items: R80.00delivered within 1 Working day from Payment.

Limpopo, Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth & Capetown Central & Surroundings,  For a box containing between 1-24 Items: R135.00delivered within 2 – 3 Working days from Payment.

Other Outlaying Areas, For a box containing between 1-24 Items: R200.00, delivered within 3 – 5 working days from Payment.

Laudium, Erasmia and ClaudiusR10.00 flat rate on any quantity delivered with our own vehicle, and can be paid COD as well.
